No. Membership is optional. Patients who would like ongoing physician follow-up between annual Comprehensive Health Assessments may choose to enroll in Elevrae Membership. While comprehensive health assessments are recommended annually they are paid for at the time of your visit and are not automatically billed to the patient.
-
Elevrae may provide selected medical management when it falls within the scope of prevention, lifestyle medicine, and chronic disease risk reduction. This may include treatment of conditions such as elevated cholesterol, high blood pressure, insulin resistance, obesity, and peri/menopause with medications prescribed when clinically appropriate.
-
If a medical concern requires care outside Elevrae’s scope, we will recommend that you see your primary care physician or the appropriate specialist. When helpful, we can also assist with referrals and coordination of care.
-
Elevrae Health does not bill insurance directly. Many services may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement—eligibility varies so we recommend checking with your plan provider. We are happy to provide receipts (superbills) upon request.
-
We made this choice deliberately. Insurance-based models often require physicians to see a high volume of patients in short visits and can limit which tests and services are covered—even when they are clinically valuable. Operating outside insurance allows us to spend more time with each patient, order tests based on your individual health history and goals, and focus on proactive, personalized care rather than the constraints of an insurance-based model.
-
We are finalizing pricing ahead of our launch. The goal of pricing is to balance affordability with first class service to all of our clients. Join our waitlist to be the first to receive pricing details and priority enrollment.

Standard laboratory testing is included in the cost of the comprehensive assessment. Additional lab work and preventive screening tests are not included in the cost of Elevrae membership. Standard screening tests such as annual screening mammograms and screening colonoscopies are typically covered by insurance. Medications may be covered by insurance but are not included in the cost of Elevrae membership.
